What to Bring or Wear:
• Please wear light clothing, or heavier layers that can be
removed. Do not wear overalls, a leotard, or dress as this could
interfere with getting accurate measurements.
During your visit:
• We will explain the project in detail to you and your
child, and you will have a chance to ask questions and sign the
consent form.
• We will measure your and your child’s height, weight,
and waist circumference.
• This visit will take about 1 hour. You will also have
the option to complete the survey in our office, which will take
an additional 45-60 minutes. We will have refreshments and things to occupy your child. Please feel free to bring a favorite book, game, or other entertainment.
