Office Visit Information:
Directions To San Diego Office
What to Bring or Wear:
• Please wear light clothing, or heavier layers that can be
removed. Do not wear overalls, a leotard, or dress as this could
interfere with getting accurate measurements.
Arriving at the Office:
• Park in the underground parking lot below our building on 5th Avenue.
• Be sure to bring your parking ticket up with you to Suite 300 so we
can validate it. You will also be reimbursed for your travel costs.
• Our office is labeled ‘NIK’. A staff member
will be waiting to greet you.
During your visit:
• We will explain the project in detail to you and your
child, and you will have a chance to ask questions and sign the
consent form.
• We will measure your and your child’s height, weight,
and waist circumference.
• This visit will take about 1 hour. You will also have
the option to complete the survey in our office, which will take
an additional 45-60 minutes. We will have refreshments and videos
for your child to watch, and they can pick a prize from our treasure chest!
